Our client is a South African based security vendor with a global reach and customers in the highest spheres of technology and innovation. They provide real-time reporting on adversaries interacting with your networks or snooping around your infrastructure, allowing you to identify and defend against attacks. They are extremely vested in the global security community and contribute to the open-source community extensively. 

Our client is looking for a Security Solutions Architect to leverage their expertise in understanding corporate vulnerabilities. In this role, the Security Solutions Architect will collaborate closely with a Customer Success Manager to devise and propose innovative security strategies tailored to diverse customer environments.

Key Responsibilities

• In this position, you will serve as a technical advisor, offering guidance on various security solutions to customers.

• Your role will involve providing technical support to address challenges and inquiries related to the deployment of security tools within customer infrastructure.

• A comprehensive understanding of both offensive and defensive security concepts will be essential to effectively employ these solutions.

• This role calls for creative thinking in terms of positioning and implementing security products, making it ideal for individuals with a strong grasp of concepts and a penchant for innovative solutions.

• Part of your responsibilities will include identifying and proposing enhancements for existing security setups.

• Engaging in remote sessions with customers to understand their requirements, address technical questions, and deliver presentations and product demonstrations is a key aspect of the role.

• You will also be responsible for identifying and evaluating opportunities to enhance the features of security solutions.

Skills and Experience

• Demonstrated practical expertise in the field of IT Security.

• A track record of working in customer-facing roles and the confidence to deliver technical presentations.

• Extensive experience and comprehension of prevailing security trends and the landscape of threats.

• Familiarity with Network Security tools, including IDS/IPS, Firewalls, and Asset management, as well as proficiency in Nmap.

• Profound knowledge of network technologies, covering DNS, DHCP, IPv4, TLS, Subnetting, Traffic flows, TCP/UDP.

• Practical experience in real-world Incident Response and the analysis of alerts.

• A comprehensive grasp of Deception Technologies.

• Proficiency in devising deception solutions while considering the perspective of potential attackers.

• Hands-on experience in penetration testing and managing vulnerabilities.

• Familiarity with managing infrastructure on major Cloud providers like AWS, GCP, and Azure.

• Expertise in enterprise security infrastructure, encompassing SOAR/SIEMs, Firewalls, and more.

• Intermediate-level scripting skills in languages such as Bash, Python, and Powershell.

• Exceptional English communication abilities.

• Well-developed analytical and problem-solving aptitude.

• Effective communication skills for both technical and non-technical interactions across all organizational levels.
